Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital
Jun 9, 2026
This month, Faith & Liberty is pleased to show our support of Israel and the Jewish people.
Today, our team will be part of a Jerusalem Day Reception. We will be joined by members of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus and will celebrate Jerusalem as the united capital of the State of Israel.
This month, we will also conclude the “Why Israel Lunch and Learn Series” at the Ministry Center. Mat Staver, chairman of Faith & Liberty, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, and founder of Covenant Journey, will be the final speaker in this series and will address “The Two-State ‘Solution?’” — a critical topic.
It has been wonderful to be able to host this series, and it has generated great discussion among attendees. No doubt, this next one with our chairman will have the same effect!
Join us in blessing the Jewish people and praying for the peace of Jerusalem!
Your missionaries in Washington, D.C.,
The Faith & Liberty team
While many of you are the bedrock of Faith & Liberty because of your faithful prayers and financial support, others may wish to give today for the first time or give a gift beyond your regular donations. Thank you for considering the impactful ministry of Faith & Liberty in our nation’s capital. Please also ask the Lord if He would have you become one of our vitally important monthly contributors. Sign up for monthly giving on our website using the SUPPORT YOUR MISSIONARIES button below and select the option, “I would like to make this a recurring donation.” If you prefer to call, please ask for Patty Bills at the Faith & Liberty office at 202-737-1776, and she will gladly assist you. You truly are an important part of our ministry, and we thank you!
Faith & Liberty’s Lindsey Cruz visited congressional offices this past week, offering information and invitations to Faith & Liberty activities, a blessing card, and the encouragement that we are praying for them!
RSVP only: You are invited to an America 250 intercessory prayer time every Saturday at our Ministry Center. Would you like to pray for our nation with others who believe in the power of prayer? If so, please contact Patty Bills at 202-737-1776 for more information and join us! This event is RSVP only.
Our Bible studies at the Ministry Center and in other locations continue strong. We are thankful for the commitment of interns and others who attend and prioritize the Word of God and fellowship with other believers! Pictured below are students of the Word digging into Ephesians.

This past weekend, Lindsey participated in Love DC with Passion City Church, which was a weekend of volunteer projects to serve many local groups who are serving the city. Pictured below is one of the activities, packing backpacks with free supplies for a local school.

We also took part in a discussion on Tim Goeglein’s newest book, What Really Matters: Restoring a Legacy of Faith, Freedom, and Family, at the Heritage Foundation. The book is about what we can do to address the decline of marriage and family in America within the government and culture.

Eagles of Fire held its monthly prayer gathering and meeting at our Ministry Center. We are thankful that we can come alongside as a support for other Christian groups in this way.
COMING SOON
Today, our team will participate in two events on Capitol Hill, the Senate Chaplain's Bible Study and a Jerusalem Day Reception, which we will attend on behalf of Liberty Counsel and Covenant Journey. We will celebrate Jerusalem as the united capital of the State of Israel.

This evening, we will attend a private screening of the film Young Washington at the Trump Kennedy Center.

In mid-July, we will host two screenings of By Dawn’s Early Light. One of the screenings will be for students and the other for the public. This documentary addresses the findings of the federal Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias.
Faith & Liberty will co-host the first Gen Z Rooftop Prayer Encounter in July. Twenty interns are coming to Washington, D.C., and will participate in this event. They will also visit congressional offices and meet key leaders.
