Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital
Jan 8, 2025
These are exciting times in our nation’s capital! The election has been certified, and the inauguration activities will soon be in full swing.
Because of our presence on Capitol Hill, Faith & Liberty is able to coordinate with other organizations that have the same ministry priorities we do. With President-elect Trump’s inauguration on Monday, Jan. 20, we are joining forces with two other ministries — including Seedline International (which we have worked with on the U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon — to facilitate the distribution of 50,000 commemorative Scripture books on inauguration day.
Because of your support, we are blessed to have our centrally located Ministry Center to store these special Scripture books before the big day. We are also working with volunteers who will hand out these Scriptures and will provide breakfast to fortify them for their mission on inauguration day.
This is just one of many inauguration activities we’ll be involved in, as you can imagine, and we thank you for coming alongside to make this possible!
Luke 11:33 reminds us: “No one lights a lamp and puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.”
Thank you for helping us be a light for Christ in our nation’s capital!
